Tickets to see British-American rock band, the Pretenders, in Detroit go on sale 10 a.m. Friday.

The 80s hit-makers are coming to the city on the States leg of their tour just 10 days ahead of their newest release, "Relentless."

Chrissie Hynde and friends will be in town for a one-night stand Sept. 5 at the Shelter.

The 400-person venue makes this a rather intimate evening and getting tickets may become a competitive undertaking.
