Tickets for 'Hamilton,' 'Jagged Little Pill,' 'Tina' at Kravis Center to go on sale

Tickets for three hit Broadway musicals — including the epic "Hamilton" — go on sale soon at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach.

Single tickets for "Hamilton" will be on sale at 10 a.m. Dec. 4, and tickets for the award-winning "Jagged Little Pill" and "Tina − The Tina Turner Musical" go on sale at 10 a.m. Dec. 1, Kravis announced in a pair of news releases this week.

The Kravis Center this year is marking 15 years of its popular Kravis On Broadway series with several major performances, including "Mean Girls" Dec. 5-10 and "Beetlejuice" Dec. 19-24, with tickets on sale now for those shows.

"Jagged Little Pill" will be at the Kravis Center Feb. 20-25. The musical is based on the music of Alanis Morissette, with a book by Diablo Cody, the writer of movies including "Juno" and "Young Adult." The musical weaves together storylines to explore issues including gender identity, addiction and the expectations of society.

Tickets start at $35.

"Tina − The Tina Turner Musical" is at the Kravis Center March 12-17. Written by Katori Hall, winner of the Pulitzer Prize, this show tells the life story of the Queen of Rock n' Roll. It chronicles the life and career of Tina Turner, from her childhood in Tennessee to her rise alongside Ike Turner, to her success as a solo artist. The musical showcases Tina Turner's resilience in the face of numerous struggles while celebrating her music.

Tickets start at $45.

"Hamilton" will return to the Kravis Center from April 10-21. The groundbreaking musical from Lin-Manuel Miranda blends hip-hop, R&B and traditional Broadway styles to tell the story of founding father Alexander Hamilton. The show explores themes of ambition, legacy and history, including its many complexities.

"Hamilton" is based on the biography of the same name by historian Ron Chernow. It won 11 Tony Awards, the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, the Grammy for Best Musical Theater Album, and the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Duo, Group or Collaboration.

Tickets will range from $49 to $159, with some premium seats available from $149 to $199. A lottery for 40 seats at a price of $10 each will be held for each performance, the Kravis Center said, noting that more details on the lottery will be available later. Each account can buy a maximum of eight tickets.

Once tickets are available, they can be purchased online at www.kravis.org; or in person or by phone from noon to 5 p.m. Monday to Saturday at the Kravis Center box office at 701 Okeechobee Blvd., West Palm Beach, or 561-832-7469.
