Tickets going fast for Palm Beach Food & Wine Festival

Attesting to its loyal following, half of the 27 events in December’s annual Palm Beach Food & Wine Festival are already sold out.

Fans have purchased all available tickets for 14 events, including affairs at such Palm Beach restaurants as Buccan, PB Catch, Meat Market, Café Boulud and Florie’s at the Four Seasons.

The 16th annual Palm Beach Food & Wine Festival (www.pbfoodwinefest.com), which is now in partnership with Wine Spectator, is Dec. 7-10, featuring local and visiting nameplate chefs, including TV personalities.

Multi-course dinners, special brunches, cooking classes, wine tastings and more take place at restaurants, hotels and other venues in Palm Beach County, with a Dec. 10 grand finale at the Palm Beach County Convention Center.

* An Evening with Robert Irvine at Okeechobee Prime Event Hall in West Palm Beach on Dec. 7. Cocktails paired with bites. $275 a person; $100 a ticket goes to Irvine’s charitable foundation.

* Spice, a dinner at Stage Kitchen & Bar in Palm Beach Gardens on Dec. 7. Co-hosts Pushkar Marathe and BootlegGreg; guest chefs Tiffani Faison, Cheetie Kumar and Dean Max. $275 a person.

* Dinner at Florie’s at the Four Seasons Palm Beach on Dec. 7. Multi-course wine-paired meal by chef Nino La Spina. $275 person.

* Lunch at Avocado Grill in West Palm Beach on Dec. 8. Host chef Julien Gremaud and guest chefs Giorgio Rapicavoli, Jordan Rubin and Stephen Stryjewski. Wine pairings included. $195 a person.

* Sunset & Swirls, a progressive wine tasting on Dec. 8 at Eau Palm Beach Resort in Manalapan with wine experts. $195 a person.

* Evening Festival Kick-off Party at The Boca Raton Resort on Dec. 8, with food and drinks by executive chef Andrew Roenbeck and guest chefs Lindsay Autry, Valerie Chang, Clay Conley, Duff Goldman, Sarah Grueneberg and Beau MacMillan. $275 a person.

* An Evening at The Breakers on Dec. 8 on a poolside terrace with food and drinks from the resort’s restaurants led by executive chef Anthony Sicignano and Master Sommelier Virginia Philip. $275 a person.

* Master Taste, a Palm Beach wine tasting on Dec. 9 at Virginia Philip Wine Spirits & Academy. $195 a person.
