Tickets for Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad's North Pole Adventure on sale Wednesday

It's time to get ready for the most wonderful time of the year!

Tickets for the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad's North Pole Adventure go on sale Wednesday at 9 a.m.

The 26-mile ride goes from the Akron Northside Station to the North Pole and back for a 90-minute journey.

Riders will get to greet Santa and his elves in addition to enjoying hot chocolate, cookies and singing carols.

Rides begin Nov. 8 and run through Dec. 21 with 5 p.m. and 8 pm. departure times. Tickets range from $45 to $90, excluding fees. Children under 2 are free and must ride in an adult's lap; car seats and strollers are not permitted on the train.

Seats in the table cars, lounge cars, first class dome cars and first class cars include a souvenir mug and tote.
