Thyme Café expanding to second location in Empire Mall with build-your-own hot pasta bar

Thyme Café and Catering, a locally-owned restaurant and catering business, announced on its Facebook page Friday that it would be expanding to a second location in the Empire Mall food court.

Originally a Lennox business, owner Taylor Massey moved to a new location at the start of the year in Sioux Falls at 3501 North Aviation Avenue, within Signature Flight Support near the airport.

"This is a big step, and we can't wait to announce (the) opening date," the business wrote on Facebook.

The mall location will have made-from-scratchflatbread pizzas, and a build-your-own hot pasta bar.

Thyme also specializes in baked shrimp foil, strawberry crunch cheesecake cones, butter corn, baked spaghetti, Tuscan chicken pasta, tomato basil pan-seared cod, sweet chili glazed chicken drumsticks and more.
