Throwback: Irina Shayk Debuted Pregnancy with Bradley Cooper's Baby on the Victoria's Secret Runway

Irina Shayk was the first to lead a standing ovation after boyfriend Bradley Cooper and his costar Lady Gaga‘s moving “Shallow” performance during Sunday’s Oscars. She also wowed everyone on the carpet as she posed with Cooper, 44, in a backless, black Burberry gown. And since the couple’s latest public appearance, the internet can’t stop talking about the Russian supermodel, whose at the top of her game, just like the actor.

Shayk, 33, has walked runways across the globe, starred in countless fashion campaigns and continues to be one of the most sought-after models in the business. She takes her job so seriously, in fact, she walked the Victoria’s Secret Runway in 2016 in Paris while six months pregnant with her and Cooper’s first child.

Shayk commanded the runway in two different outfits as she tried to conceal her growing bump.

For one of her looks, Shayk sported a sexy red lace halter bra and matching lacy bottoms teamed with a beaded fringe jacket buttoned closed to hide her stomach.

One of the model’s other looks in the 2016 show featured a dramatic floor-length trench coat worn over sexy lingerie.

Though Shayk wore added fabric for the show, most people backstage had no idea the star was expecting when she walked.

“Looking back, some of her outfits were less revealing in the stomach and seeing the news after the show, it made sense,” an insider told PEOPLE at the time. “No one suspected backstage, that’s for sure! She looked as beautiful as ever.”

Cooper and Shayk later welcomed daughter Lea De Seine Shayk Cooper four months later in March 2017.

Since then, the couple has preferred to remain notoriously private about their relationship.

“I think it’s all about personal choice,” Shayk told Glamour UK this year in her new cover story. “Because my work requires me to be out there, I just decided my personal life will be quiet. That’s why it’s called personal, because it’s something for you and your family, and I feel happy with it.”

She also opened up to PEOPLE about balancing motherhood and work life, saying she suffers from mom guilt “every day.”

“I’m the mom who’s always checking in,” the supermodel told PEOPLE exclusively in November 2018, adding that she’s ‘”really hard” on herself.

Her way of dealing? Recognizing she’s not alone. “Everyone has it,” Shayk shared. “Time passes so fast. You just have to try to live in the moment.”

“I’m not good, but I’m working on it,” she added. “You just have to let it go and not be hard on yourself.”
