My Three Sons (1960) Season 12 is the final installment in this vintage American sitcom created by Don Fedderson. In this edition, Steve witnesses the coming of his look-alike Scottish nobleman cousin, Fergus. His arrival upsets Uncle Charley, who decides to drive the Scottish royalty out of his house. Upon discovering that Fergus is looking for a wife to provide him with heirs, Uncle Charley puts out a local advertisement to help speed up this process. Fergus ends up proposing to Bowling Alley cocktail waitress Terri Dowling after their first date and is ultimately rejected. However, Fergus eventually convinces her to return to Scotland as royalty.
Fred MacMurray leads the pack as the star of the show, portraying the character of Steve Douglas. The supporting cast also includes Don Grady, Barry Livingston, Stanley Livingston, William Demarest, Beverly Garland, Tina Cole, and Jodie Foster, among others.
