FOND DU LAC — The Saturday night music act at this summer's Fond du Lac County Fair is official.

Tickets are available now for July 20, when both Pop Evil and Fuel will headline the show on the Holiday Automotive Grandstand.

Michigan-based Pop Evil formed in 2001 and released its first studio album, "Lipstick on the Mirror," in 2008. Since then, it has released six other albums.

The songs "Torn to Pieces" and "Trenches" from the 2013 album "Onyx" are among their most popular, alongside "Footsteps" and "Breathe Again," according to Spotify. Its most recent album was "Skeletons," released last spring.

Carl Bell formed Fuel in Pennsylvania in 1989, and its 1998 debut album "Sunburn" became certified platinum while its next album, "Something Like Human," is certified double platinum. The song "Shimmer" from the first album is still one of the band's most popular songs, beside "Hemorrhage (In My Hands)" and "Bad Day," both from the second album.

Fuel has six total albums, the most recent one being "Anomaly," released in 2021 — the first album to welcome back longtime drummer Kevin Miller after 18 years, according to Fuel's website.

The band has also appeared on film soundtracks, including "Scream 3," "Daredevil," "A Walk to Remember" and "Godzilla."

Tickets are on sale on the Fond du Lac County Fair's website. The cost is $85 for VIP tickets, which includes fair admission, parking and two drink tickets; or $35 general admission tickets, which include covered seating at the grandstand or standing room on the track behind VIP.
