BUCHANAN — Three exhibits open Jan. 10 and continue through Feb. 18 at the Roti Roti Art Center of Buchanan, 117 W. Front St.:

  • “Jeffrey Paulette: Lithographs & Hand-crafted Furniture & Stained Glass”: A local artist, Paulette portrays Buchanan area landscapes, all hand-printed originals, not photo reproductions. Each print is a numbered, limited edition, drawn on lithograph stone, then hand-inked and printed, one at a time on a lithograph press.Inspired by remodeling an older home, Paulette began making his own Mission-style furniture, incorporating stained glass, mica and tiles. In addition to his lithographs and furniture, the exhibit features several of Paulette’s stained-glass windows and lamp shades.

  • “John L Trapp: Reflections Photography Exhibit”: Trapp’s exhibit features photos taken exclusively in Berrien County after he moved back to the area following a 35-year career as a wildlife biologist with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service that took him from the far-flung wilderness of Alaska to the bureaucratic halls of Washington, D.C.

  • “Heather Pletcher: Drawing at Daybreak”: Pletcher’s ink and acrylic painting “Drawing at Daybreak” spans 27 feet, taking the viewer in as it encompasses the space. Pletcher created this piece over several early mornings before she began her day’s routine. Creating this was a departure from the small, representational painted ornaments she has created over the past 50 years.

An artists’ reception takes place from 2 to 4 p.m. Jan. 14.

Admission is free.

Hours are noon to 5 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
