Thomas Markle's Desperate Attempts to Get Ahold of Meghan Are Getting Out of Control

This is getting out of hand. Meghan Markle and her father Thomas Markle have had a strained relationship for quite some time now, but that hasn’t stopped the 75-year-old from publicly humiliating the mother-of-one. Despite the countless tell-all interviews and rude comments made about the former Duchess of Sussex and her life choices, Thomas is still unable to get a response from her — and Meghan’s silence is only fueling the fire.

In fact, his most recent revelation just might be his most frightening of all. Thomas revealed while speaking with Good Morning Britain that he purposely does monthly interviews as a desperate attempt to open up communication with his estranged daughter and her husband, Prince Harry.

“For me there is no other way to reach them,” he said. “I pretty much will give an interview and wait for 30 days for some kind of answer back. If I don’t get one back then I’ll try another interview. That’s about the only shot I have.”

“I’m at their mercy,” he continued. “If they want to get in touch with me, I’m sure it wouldn’t be a problem. They could easily get in touch with me.”

The problem is, Meghan and Prince Harry clearly have no desire to speak with him, and the latest comments made in his documentary, Thomas Markle: My Story, don’t exactly help his case. In the documentary, which aired in the UK, the father took several jabs at the couple’s decision to forfeit their royal titles, claiming that he’s “embarrassed” by them.

“With Meghan and Harry separating from the royals, it’s disappointing to me because she actually got every girl’s dream,” he explained. “Every young girl wanted to become a princess and she got that and now she’s tossing that away… it looks like she’s tossing that away for money.”

But it seems like money is all he’s after when it comes to establishing some kind of relationship with his daughter — and that very well could be a reason why the former Suits star wants to distance herself from him. “My daughter told me when I reach my senior years, she’ll take care of me. I’m in my senior years now. I’m 75 years old, so it’s time to look after daddy,” he said.

“They owe me,” he added as if he’s looking for some kind of reward for raising his child who grew up to be successful. “The royals owe me, Harry owes me, Meghan owes me.”
