The Third Member Of LFO Has Died, And The Only Remaining Member Says "The LFO Story Is A Tragedy"

LFO is one of the most iconic late '90s/early 2000s boy bands.

Not only because their name stands for "Lyte Funkie Ones"...

...but because they have the hits!

There's the iconic and lyrically legendary "Summer Girls."

"Girl on TV" is another smash.

And I'd be remiss not to mention sleeper hit "Every Other Time."

But LFO's story is actually extremely tragic.

And now we've learned that a third member of LFO has also died.

Brian "Brizz" Gillis was one of the founding members of the group.

Brian had one official photo shoot with the band.

It's classic '90s boy band stuff.

Eventually, and before they hit it big, Brian left the band, making way for the LFO you're more familiar with:

The only surviving band member, Brad Fischetti, shared the news on Instagram.

"The first two chapters of the LFO story lost a main character yesterday. Brian ‘Brizz’ Gillis passed away," he wrote.

"I don’t have details and it wouldn’t be my place to share them if I did. I am really struggling to process this tragic loss. I’ve said it before and I will continue to say it; the LFO Story is a tragedy," he continued.

"If you watched the LFO Story livestream or have seen the band and me play it live, you know what Brian meant to LFO. If it wasn’t for his hard work and dedication in the early days of LFO, the first two chapters, the LFO you came to know and (hopefully) love would not exist."

He added, "I know that soon or maybe already, Brizz will be greeted by Rich and Devin. And I hope that together, they will make some sweet sounds. I would really like that."
