210 N. Santa Fe Ave.| 6 p.m. | Latin Sol, a high-energy band from Denver, will perform old school and new school rhythm and blues, funk and Latin tunes. Tickets are $8 in advance at sdc-arts.org or $10 at the door. Seating is limited, so the audience is encouraged to bring a chair or blanket to sit on.

'ThankBrew' Brewfest at Colorado State University Pueblo

ThunderBowl Leomiti Warrior Center rooftop on Troy Avenue | 6 p.m. | The event will honor members of the Young President's Club. Local brews will be provided by Walter’s Brewing, Shamrock Pub, Keg 1 Distributor and Pepsi, plus barbecue fare will be served by Toler Brothers Catering. Tickets are $20 for alumni or $30 for the general public and are on sale at csupueblo.edu.

Free movie at Mineral Palace Park

1500-2100 N. Santa Fe Ave. | Activities at 6:30 p.m., movie at dusk | The Pueblo Parks and Recreation department will show the movie "Elvis" which is rated PG-13. Bring the whole family and a blanket or chair to sit on. There will be food trucks on site to purchase something to eat.

Greenhorn Valley Days in Colorado City

Greenhorn Meadows Park, Colorado Highway 165 | 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. | The event will feature coed softball, horseshoe and cornhole tournaments as well as kids' activities, food trucks, live music and vendors. Register for events at valley-first.org.

Christmas in July Small Business Vendor Show at Pueblo Community College

900 W. Orman Ave., outdoor courtyard | 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. | The Southern Colorado Small Business Development Center event features 50 small businesses selling products such as jewelry, makeup, candles, treats, arts, crafts, clothing and more. The event is free to the public and will include food vendors, a bounce house, a face painter, the PCC Panther mascot and entertainment.

Blues & BBQ at Pueblo West Civic Center Park

61 E. Civic Center Plaza | Event starts at 4 p.m., music with Rhythm Kings Trio at 6:30 p.m. | Local barbecue food trucks will compete for the honor of the Pueblo West People's Choice award. Participants pay $10 to get a 3-ounce sample from each competitor so they can vote for their favorite. Cost for the concert is $5. Admission is required for those attending the splash pad's extended hours from 4 to 6 p.m., while the splash pad is free from noon to 3:30 p.m. Proceeds benefit the Pueblo West Parks and Recreation holiday food drives and future events.

Noche de Fiesta at Pueblo Convention Center

320 Central Main St. | 5-11:30 p.m. | The Colorado State Fair Fiesta Committee scholarship fundraising event will feature Tex-Mex and Tejano music of The Homeboyz and Pueblo's own Bits and Pieces plus DJ Habitz. Advance tickets are $20 at the Latino Chamber, 215 S. Victoria Ave., or $25 at the door. A margarita bar will run from 5-7 p.m. For more info, call 719-248-6662.
