Bands on the Beach

7 p.m. Tuesday, June 27. Gulfside Pavilion at Casino Beach, Pensacola Beach. Pensacola Beach's popular outdoor summer concert series with performers for every musical taste. Featuring a lineup of regional artists, Bands on the Beach delivers an eclectic musical experience throughout the entire summer. This week features Mass Kunfuzion. WEDNESDAY

Pensacola International Billfish Tournament

Wednesday through Sunday, June 28 through July 2. Palafox Pier & Yacht Harbor, 997 S. Palafox St. The Pensacola Big Game Fishing Club will host its 52nd annual Pensacola International Billfish Tournament. The captain’s meeting will take place Wednesday at the Museum of Commerce, 201 Zaragoza St. Fishing will begin at 12:01 p.m. Thursday. The tournament entry fee is $3,000 per boat (four anglers) and each additional angler is $900. PBGFC club members will receive a $500 discount off the base entry. All anglers must be registered. Heroes Among Us speaker series

6 p.m. Thursday, June 29. Seville Quarter, 130 E. Government St. The “Heroes Among Us” series, founded in 2013, features individuals from all branches of the military service. The goal is to let these heroes share their experiences with others, both civilians and military veterans as well as active-duty members. Rock n Roll Tie Dye Party

All day Friday, June 30. Bayview Senior Resource Center, 2000 E. Lloyd St. Bayview Senior Center is hosting the fourth annual Rock n Roll Tie Dye Party featuring music, drinks and light refreshments. 7 a.m. Saturday, July 1. Seville Quarter, 130 E. Government St. The Firecracker 5k will take place in historic downtown Pensacola and benefits Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northwest Florida. The race starts and ends at Seville Quarter and invites both runners and walkers to join the fun. Celebrate the Fourth of July themed race by wearing red, white, and blue. Flora-Bama Freedom Run 4 Mile Run/Walk

8 a.m. Saturday, July 1. Flora-Bama Lounge & Package, 17401 Perdido Key Drive. Flora-Bama's third annual Freedom Run will feature two courses, the Four Mile Run/Walk Course or the One-Mile Fun Run/Walk. From ribbons and bows to flags, socks and T-shirts, break out your best red, white and blue attire so that this run screams “America!” Registration Includes a race shirt (guaranteed to the first 400 registrants), patriotic swag, and food & drink at the post-race party. All fun run participants will receive a finisher medal once they cross the finish line. Four milers will win first, second or third place by age division and awards will be given to the overall male and females in both the four-mile run and walk. Little Red Robin Hood

11:30 a.m. Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 1 and 2. Pensacola Little Theatre, 400 S. Jefferson St. Little Red Robin Hood is a fractured fairy tale of the smart and kind Red Robin Hood, who must deal with the Big Bad Sherriff of Naughty Hams (three pigs). The show includes a fashion forward emperor, Cindy’s stepsisters, Humpty Dumpty and a cast of Mother Goose and Grimm characters. Produced in the courtroom as an ACORN show for very young audiences. The Waymores

Noon Sunday, July 2. Pensacola Bay Brewery, 225 E. Zaragoza St. The critically acclaimed Atlanta-based married honky tonky Americana/country duo The Waymores will perform live in concert. The Waymores play authentic country music with an Americana flourish, combining elements of folk, blues and Honky Tonk into an instantly recognizable sound. Willie Heath Neal’s husky baritone and the warm alto of Kira Annalise compliment each other perfectly. Blues on the Bay

6 p.m. Sunday, July 2. Community Maritime Park Hunter Amphitheater, 301 W. Main St. This free concert series is one of the most popular events for locals and visitors to spend the final hours of their weekend enjoying great music with family and friends in a great atmosphere. Concert spectators are invited to bring coolers and lawn chairs. Guests of all ages are encouraged to enjoy the cool breeze of the bay while listening and dancing to some of the region's best musical talent. This week features Hi Tide Band.
