Monday Night Blues

7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 9. Seville Quarter, 130 E. Government St. Seville Quarter and the Blues Society of Northwest Florida are bringing the “blues” back to the Seville Quarter Entertainment District. Sara Davis Buechner

7:30 p.m. Rolfs Music Hall at the Center for Fine and Performing Arts, 11000 University Parkway. The University of West Florida Dr. Grier Williams School of Music will present Sara Davis Buechner. Noted for her musical command, cosmopolitan artistry and visionary independence, Buechner is one of the most original concert pianists. $20 for adults; $16 for seniors and military; $14 for UWF faculty and staff and non-UWF students; $7 for high school students. TUESDAY

Adventures Unlimited Fall Foliage Zipline Tours

Tuesday, Sept. 1 through Thursday, Nov. 30. Adventures Unlimited Outdoor Center, 8974 Tomahawk Landing Road, Milton. The Beaches to Woodlands Tour is here and it brings a great time to enjoy the natural attractions at Adventures Unlimited located just north of the Blackwater River State Forest. Enjoy the changing colors and excitement while doing one of the Canopy Zipline Tours. Bands on the Beach

7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10. Gulfside Pavilion at Casino Beach, Pensacola Beach. Pensacola Beach's popular outdoor summer concert series with performers for every musical taste. Featuring a lineup of regional artists, Bands on the Beach delivers an eclectic musical experience throughout the entire summer. This week features Crosstown. Fall Safety Festival

4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12. Santa Rosa Emergency Management, 4499 Pine Forest Road, Milton. Santa Rosa County Emergency Management wants to celebrate fall with the community by hosting a family-friendly Safety Festival featuring free helmets with fitting, face painting, games, safety tips, door prizes and giveaways, and CPR/AED and Basic First Aid mini-training. Disney Junior Live: Costume Palooza

6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12. Saenger Theatre, 118 S. Palafox St. Mickey, Minnie, and their pals are getting ready to throw a huge costume party, but mysterious weather keeps interrupting the fun. Can Team Spidey help save the Costume Palooza? The show is geared toward Disney Junior's most beloved super fans and offers an immersive, interactive concert experience that includes singing, dancing, 3D special effects and acrobatics with cirque-style performances including incredible trampoline routines from renowned acrobatic director John Brady. Cinemas in the Sand

Sunset Friday, Oct. 13. Gulfside Pavilion, 20 Casino Beach Blvd., Pensacola Beach. Pack up your beach chairs and a blanket, and dig your toes in the sugar-white sand while watching classic family movies on Pensacola Beach. The Santa Rosa Island Authority invites families and kids, young and old, to its newest event – Cinemas in the Sand movie nights on Pensacola Beach. Taste of the Beach returns with a seafood-infused VIP Trolley Dinner on Friday and continues Saturday with an outdoor festival staged around the Gulfside Pavilion on Casino Beach. Saturday’s free outdoor festival takes place on the white-sand shoreline of the beach for a daylong celebration of all things Southern, seafood, savory and sweet. Ital-iano

6 p.m., cocktail hour; 7 p.m., program; Friday, Oct. 13. Sanders Beach Corinne Jones Resource Center, 913 South I St. The Pensacola Children’s Chorus invites members of the community to take a journey to sun-kissed Italy for its final “Ital-iano” fundraiser, which benefits PCC’s Tuition Assistance program. The event will with a cocktail hour featuring a larger-than-life charcuterie board by Olive to Nosh. The Ensemble and Young Singers groups will perform a Patriotic Medley as well as an excerpt from the upcoming Hauncert, a family-friendly Halloween themed concert. $95; table of 10 for $850. Seville Rotary Steak Cook Off

6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 13. Seville Quarter, 130 E. Government St. The 11th annual Seville Rotary Steak Cook Off will give all attendees a chance to try New York Strip steaks provided by Winn-Dixie and prepared by 20 teams competing for the Judges' Choice and People's Choice awards. Bands on the Blackwater Fall Concert Series

Scary Pockets

Holland Farms Pumpkin Patch & Maze

8 a.m. Sunday to Saturday, Sept. 23 through Nov. 4. Holland Farms, 2055 Homer Holland Road, Milton. Enjoy a farm hayride that will take you around the farm and to the pumpkin patch to pick a pumpkin of your choice. New activities for this year include a 3/4-mile train ride around the farm and a new innertube hill slide. Other activities include corn box, horse and regular swings, spider web, pirate ship, zip lines, pedal tractor cart racing, hill slides, rat racers, sand box and an 8-acre corn maze with kiddie maze. Navarre Beach Autorama: Car, Truck, and Bike Show

Munson Community Heritage Festival

9 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 14 and 15. Krul Lake Recreation Area, Milton. Learn about old-time ways through hands-on demonstrations. The festival features a Civil War reenactment camp, Native American displays, wood carving, basket weaving, making corn-shuck dolls, dulcimer making, shoe cobbling, cross-cut sawing, an old-time circular sawmill operation, turpentining and displays by local museums. Boo at the Zoo

Visitors can spend time this fall season navigating their way through a unique corn maze with plenty of room to spread out on the farm. U-pick sunflowers will be blooming in October along with the pumpkin patch. The Symphonic Band in concert

3:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 15. Museum Plaza, 300 S. Tarragona St. The University of West Florida Dr. Grier Williams School of Music will present the Symphonic Band in concert. Under the direction of Dr. Steven Sudduth, this program will include works by Frank Ticheli and Clifton Williams and an arrangement of “America, the Beautiful” by Samuel Augustus Ward with vocal soloist.
