Monday Night Blues

7 p.m. Monday, March 11. Seville Quarter, 130 E. Government St. Seville Quarter and the Blues Society of Northwest Florida are bringing the “blues” back to the Seville Quarter Entertainment District. Crown The Empire

7 p.m., doors; 8 p.m., show; Tuesday, March 12. Vinyl Music Hall, 2 S. Palafox St. Metalcore band Crown the Empire will perform live in concert. The band earned Best Breakthrough Band honors at the 2014 Alternative Press Music Awards, beating out more established outfits, such as Letlive. and Twenty One Pilots. Sub-Radio

Jazz at Jackson’s

5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 14. Jackson's Steakhouse, 400 S. Palafox St. Back by popular demand, the featured performers for the evening are vocalist Ellen Vinson accompanied by noted pianist Bobby van Deusen. Together, they will present a program featuring some of their favorite things; many jazz standards of songs by composers with enduring popularity highlighting the American Songbook. Pi Day Pie Tasting event

6 p.m. Thursday, March 14. Pensacola MESS Hall, 418 E. Wright St. The Pensacola MESS Hall is hosting an irrational celebration on Pi Day. Attendees will sample pies, both pizza and dessert, from restaurants and bakeries from around the area, including J’s Pastry, Craft Bakery, Conchita’s, Bubba’s Pizza, Lost Pizza, Papa’s Pizza, and Short Fuze. Attendees will also explore the many uses of pi, the irrational number, along with the many engaging activities throughout the MESS Hall. $31.42. For ages 21 and older. Cinemas in the Sand

Sunset Friday, March 15. Gulfside Pavilion, 20 Casino Beach Blvd., Pensacola Beach. Pack up your beach chairs and a blanket, and dig your toes in the sugar-white sand while watching classic family movies on Pensacola Beach. The Santa Rosa Island Authority invites families and kids, young and old, to Cinemas in the Sand movie nights on Pensacola Beach. This week features Shrek. Free. More info: visitpensacolabeach.com.

The Fair Flea Market

9 a.m. Friday and Saturday, March 15 and 16. Pensacola Interstate Fair, 6655 W. Mobile Highway. The Fair Flea Market is back by popular demand with vendors selling their items, food, a blood drive and more. An Easter Egg Hunt will take place at noon Saturday ages 12 and younger. Third annual Kites on the Coast

4 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, March 15 through 17. Casino Beach Pavilion, 1 Via De Luna Drive, Pensacola Beach. Kites on the Coast is an intergenerational event that boasts two professional kite teams, a large kid craft area, local school-aged performers, and a variety of food trucks. Gallery Night

5 p.m. Friday, March 15. Downtown Pensacola. Gallery Night Pensacola is a nonprofit organization with a dedicated goal of inspiring culture, engagement, and the practice of arts of all types in an entertaining event for all ages and walks of life. These monthly events focus on specific themes, highlight featured artists, and recruit the best creators the area has to offer. This month’s theme is Dancin’ in the Streets. TOOL tribute band SCHISM

Die Fledermaus

Palafox St. Gabriel von Eisenstein finds himself at Prince Orlofsky’s elaborate masquerade ball, along with his wife Rosalinde, their maid Adele, and his friend Dr. Falke. The catch? They’re all concealing their identities as part of an elaborate prank of light-hearted revenge. Just as things begin to unravel, all is revealed and the characters accept their bamboozlement, raising a toast to champagne’s delicious pleasures. SATURDAY

11th annual Beach Run/Walk for America’s Warriors

7:30 a.m., half marathon; 9 a.m., 5K; Saturday, March 16. Flora-Bama Lounge & Package, 17401 Perdido Key Drive. Al courses are held on the sand. The half marathon will head east into Florida for the 10.5K, turning around and ending at the Flora-Bama. The 5K Run & Walk will head west in Alabama for 2.5K, also turning around and ending at the Flora-Bama. Awards will be given to first, second and third place for all age groups in the run, walk and half marathon. Special awards will be given for overall male and female. Fourth annual Shamrock Stroll

8 a.m. Saturday, March 16. Navarre Beach. The fourth annual Shamrock Stroll 5K Fun Run/Walk, Pet Parade & Costume Contest is back and better than ever. Lace-up your sneakers and join organizers on Navarre Beach for a morning filled with fun and excitement. Participants will start at the south end of the Navarre Beach Boat Parking Lot and make their way down Gulf Boulevard's multi-purpose trail. An Evening Under the Stars

5 p.m. Saturday, March 16. Big Lagoon State Park, 12301 Gulf Beach Highway. Big Lagoon State Park along with the Escambia Amateur Astronomer Association invites everyone to spend an evening gazing at the skies. Clear skies permitting, telescopes and binoculars will be set up to capture views of the moon, planets and other celestial objects. All participants must enter the park prior to sunset. 37th annual Pensacola Beach St. Paddy’s Day Pub Crawl

9 a.m. Sunday, March 17. Crabs on the Beach, 6 Casino Beach Boardwalk, Pensacola Beach. Get ready to “Go Irish on the Island” with a vibrant tapestry of 17 participating Pensacola Beach bars, restaurants, and hotels offering up a pot of gold filled with Irish drink specials, live music, and mischievous fun. Kicking off at 9 a.m., Crabs on the Beach offers an Irish breakfast fit for champions. But for something a tad more traditional, attendees may head over to Paddy O’Leary’s Irish Pub for a Catholic mass with Bishop William A. Jim Gaffigan: Barely Alive Tour

4 p.m., doors; 5 p.m., show; Sunday, March 17. Pensacola Bay Center, 201 E. Gregory St. Jim Gaffigan is a seven-time Grammy-nominated comedian, actor, writer, producer, two-time New York Times best-selling author, three-time Emmy-winning top-touring performer and multi-platinum-selling recording artist. He is known around the world for his unique brand of humor, which largely revolves around his observations on life. Gaffigan is the first comedian to reach one billion streams on Pandora. In addition to the critically acclaimed semi-autobiographical “The Jim Gaffigan Show,” he has guest starred on many television comedies and dramas, ranging from “Portlandia” to “Law & Order."
