Adventures Unlimited Fall Foliage Zipline Tours

Tuesday, Sept. 1 through Thursday, Nov. 30. Adventures Unlimited Outdoor Center, 8974 Tomahawk Landing Road, Milton. The Beaches to Woodlands Tour is here and it brings a great time to enjoy the natural attractions at Adventures Unlimited located near the Blackwater River State Forest. Enjoy the changing colors and excitement while doing one of the Canopy Zipline Tours. Gregory St. Multi-platinum Grammy-nominated hard rock band Godsmack, Atreyu and Flatblack featuring Jason Hook formerly of Five Finger Death Punch is coming to Pensacola Bay Center. With over 20 years of chart-topping success, Godsmack has cemented themselves as 21st-century hard rock titans. To date, they’ve accomplished 11 No. 1 singles at mainstream rock radio and have achieved 20 Top 10 hits at the format, the most of any act since February 1999. Bands on the Beach

7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5. Gulfside Pavilion at Casino Beach, Pensacola Beach. Pensacola Beach's popular outdoor summer concert series with performers for every musical taste. Featuring a lineup of regional artists, Bands on the Beach delivers an eclectic musical experience throughout the entire summer. This week features John Hart & The Price Brothers. depARTure: For the Love – Love of Theatre

5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7. Pensacola Little Theatre, 400 S. Jefferson St. The annual depARTure supports Pensacola Little Theatre’s scholarship program, keeps tuition prices affordable, and sponsors the traveling theater outreach troupe, taking free arts education programming into local schools, nursing homes, community centers, and libraries to serve the youth in the community. Bulls On The Beach

5:30 p.m., doors; 6 p.m., arena; 8 p.m., bull riding; Thursday through Saturday, Sept. 7 through 9. Flora-Bama Lounge & Package, 17401 Perdido Key Drive. Bring the family out to experience the ultimate adrenaline rush with three nights of live rodeo action featuring professional bull riders from all around the country. Thursday night will feature junior riders on miniature bulls, a coloring contest bike giveaway for both a lucky boy and girl, followed by professional bull riding to round out the night. Friday and Saturday night will feature the professionals in the adult bull riding competition. A portion of the proceeds from this event will go to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. $30 for ages 18 and older; $15 for ages 7 to 17; free for ages 6 and younger. The Hiding Place The Musical

7 p.m. Friday and 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18 and 19; 7 p.m. Thursdays, Aug. 24 through Sept. 14. The REX Theatre, 18 N. Palafox St. "The Hiding Place" relates the true story of Corrie ten Boom who, together with her sister, Betsie, and father, Casper, hid Jews in their home during the Nazi occupation of Holland in World War II. The dynamic cast is comprised of local performers of all ages, including Angel Award-winning singer Alisha Burke (Best Performing Artist, 2021) and singer and recording artist James Strasburg. FRIDAY

The Emerald Coast Beer Festival

Featuring over 50 breweries, the 23rd annual Emerald Coast Beer Festival offered attendees a variety of items to enjoy at Seville Quarter on Friday, September 7, 2018. The event helps raise money for the Alfred-Washburn Center and Seville Rotary Club.

5:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8. Seville Quarter, 130 E. Government St. The Emerald Coast Beer Festival, Pensacola's largest and oldest craft beer tasting event, is back for its 27th year. The beer fest will feature breweries all around the Gulf Coast area, including 50-plus microbreweries and another 50 to 100 represented by their distributors. In addition to the microbreweries, there will be 10-plus homebrew clubs providing beer. VIP Admission gets early access at 5 p.m., and general admission starts at 5:30 p.m. The festival will also feature live music, food trucks, and a variety of other activities. Juana Good Time Regatta

6 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 8 through 10. Juana’s Pagodas & Sailors Grill, 1451 Navarre Beach Causeway, Navarre Beach. With the main emphasis being a "good time," the regatta is designed for both experienced and novice racers and is open to all sizes of multihull sailboats, from beach cats to tris and cruisers. It starts with the Wish for Wind Package Pick-up Party on Friday evening that includes complimentary T-shirts, snacks, and free/discounted drinks. Saturday will include the Distance Race and Sailors’ Dinner, and Sunday features the Triangle Buoy Races and Awards Ceremony. More info: juanaspagodas.com.

Bands on the Blackwater Fall Concert Series

7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8. Jernigan’s Landing, 5154 Willing St., Milton. Come by boat or bring a lawn chair and join friends and neighbors for the best live music on the Gulf Coast at the award winning, family-friendly Bands on the Blackwater concerts. Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience

Imagine being completely immersed in more than 300 of the greatest works of post-Impressionist artist Vincent Van Gogh. Now imagine experiencing all of this art liberated from its two-dimensional limitations into a three-dimensional experience that exhilarates every sense and brings to life one of the most influential artists the world has known. PAW Patrol Live

11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday and noon and 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9 and 10. Pensacola Bay Center, 201 E. Gregory St. It’s Pirate Day in Adventure Bay, and Mayor Goodway is getting ready for a big celebration. But first, Ryder and his team of pirate pups must rescue Cap’n Turbot from a mysterious cavern. When they do, they also discover a secret pirate treasure map. The PAW Patrol set out over land and sea to find the treasure for Mayor Goodway’s celebration before Mayor Humdinger finds it first. The pups will need all paws on deck for this pirate adventure, including some help from the newest pup Tracker. Tickets start at $40. More info: 850-432-0800.

Coastal County Oktoberfest

1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9. Coastal County Brewing, 3041 E. Olive Road. The fourth annual Coastal County Oktoberfest will be a full-day celebration for attendees to kick back and enjoy all the ‘beer’ necessities. Organizers are planning festive attire, fun competitions, authentic eats, face-painting and specialty brews to make attendees feel as if they’ve just landed in Munich. Navarre Beach Art, Beer & Wine Festival

10 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 10. Andy D's Restaurant & Daiquiri Deck, 8649 Gulf Blvd., Navarre Beach.
