Bands on the Beach

7 p.m. Tuesday, April 23. Gulfside Pavilion at Casino Beach, Pensacola Beach. Bands on the Beach is Pensacola Beach's popular outdoor summer concert series with performers for every musical taste. Featuring a lineup of regional artists, the series delivers an eclectic musical experience throughout the entire summer. This week features Mass Kunfuzion. Harlem Globetrotters World Tour

7 p.m. Tuesday, April 23. Pensacola Bay Center, 201 E. Gregory St. The Harlem Globetrotters World Tour is coming with game like never before. Your favorite Globetrotter stars are bringing out their amazing basketball skills, outrageous athleticism, and a non-stop good time. Jazz Ensemble & Combo in concert

7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 23. UWF Center for Fine and Performing Arts, 11000 University Parkway. Join the UWF Combo and UWF Jazz Ensemble for an evening of small and large ensemble instrumental and vocal jazz. The Combo will present works by Billy Taylor, Rodgers & Hart, Herbie Hancock, Hirokuzo Ando, George Searing and more. Flora-Bama Mullet Swing Golf Tournament

Interstate Mullet Toss & Greatest Beach Party

10 a.m. Friday through Sunday, April 26 through 28. Flora-Bama Lounge & Package, 17401 Perdido Key Drive. The Interstate Mullet Toss & Gulf Coast’s Greatest Beach Party started as just a reason to party and has become one of the biggest beach parties on the coast. Those who participate in the Mullet Toss will throw a dead mullet over the state line of Florida and Alabama to see who gets the farthest. People travel from across the globe to see what all the fuss is about here at the Flora-Bama. $10 a day for ages 21 and older; $15 for ages 16 to 20; free for ages 15 and younger. Pensacola Crawfish Festival

11 a.m. Friday, 10 a.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday, April 26 through 28. Seville Square & Fountain Park, downtown Pensacola. The Pensacola Crawfish Festival features thousands of pounds of boiled crawfish, fresh from Louisiana, brought to attendees by Pensacola locals, Cordova Crawfish Company. Cajun fare features include boudin, jambalaya, etouffee, fresh and fried seafood, and gumbo. Traditional festival options and desserts are also available. Live entertainment starts at 2 p.m. Friday and noon Saturday and Sunday. Adults: $5 per day. Kids aged 6 to 12: $2 per day. Kids 5 and younger: Free. Gulf Coast Whale Festival

9 a.m. Saturday, April 27. Gulfside Pavilion, 20 Casino Beach Boardwalk, Pensacola Beach. The Gulf Coast Whale Festival brings environmental education and fun to Pensacola Beach. Life-sized models of Gulf whales will be on display, courtesy of the Clearwater Marine Aquarium Research Institute. That includes a model of the Rice’s whale—one of the world’s rarest and most endangered animals. Educational exhibits and activities tell the story of Gulf whales and local marine life, and a puppet parade led by Birds of a Feather showcases the ecology of the Gulf. Mozart’s Magnificent Voyage

Palafox St. Join the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra for a family event featuring a theatrical concert for all ages followed by hands-on musical activities. Mozart’s Magnificent Voyage features the story of the composer’s young son, Karl, who longs to be taken from his boarding school to spend more time with his famous father. An old traveling trunk serves as a magic chest that reveals a journey back in time to Mozart’s childhood and into the fantastic world of Mozart’s opera, The Magic Flute. Tickets start at $10.
