Things to do: Learn some line dancing at Guernsey Brewhouse

Bring out your boots and kick up some dust at the Guernsey Brewhouse on Thursday. Join Ashley Klier as she teaches a line dancing class. Klier is an elementary school educator and workout instructor who has been teaching line dancing for nearly two years. Some of the dances participants might learn are Cotton Eyed Joe, the Cha Cha Slide, the Cupid Shuffle, Wagon Wheel and Boot Scoot Boogie. The class is $20 per person, is pre-pay only and includes a drink ticket for the evening. Those interested in purchasing a ticket can text Klier at 740-294-1378. The class is scheduled to run from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and The Frizzle food truck will be on-site at 4 p.m. For more information call 740-995-3467. Planetarium show

Marietta College will offer a free full dome showing of "One Sky" at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Anderson Hancock Planetarium. One Sky Project is an international collaboration focused on increasing understanding of cultural and indigenous astronomy, its historical and modern applications. Those attending can also plan for the April 8 solar eclipse and pick up a pair of eclipse glasses for a minimal donation. Each show at the planetarium will include a live presentation about the current night sky, followed by a full dome planetarium video and a question-and-answer period. While there is no charge for the show, plan to arrive early, as shows are first-come, first-served. For more information call 740-376-4408. Tea and trivia

The John & Annie Glenn Museum will host an Annie Glenn Tea & Trivia on Saturday to honor Annie Glenn. Tea and refreshments will be served and there will be a game of Annie Glenn Trivia. To allow more people to attend, there will be a morning tea from 10 a.m. to noon and an afternoon tea from 2 to 4 p.m. There is no cost to attend but reservations are required. Mystic fun

Ravens and Broomsticks Mystic Faire returns to the Southgate Hotel on Saturday. Vendors will have booths available from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for shopping. Purchase new crystals, get a tarot reading done, or find the perfect unique gift. The Enchanted Garden and McAlpine Meadery, Viking Woman Creations, Lily's Divine Arts, Moonflower Fortunetelling and more will be on hand. The event is $5 per person at the door, and door prizes will be awarded. Those wishing to increase their chances at a door prize can donate a bag of dog or cat food to receive extra tickets. Rock show

Get ready for a night of true rock and roll. That Arena Rock Show will take the stage at 8 p.m. Saturday at Wheeling Island. Performing hits from legends like AC/DC, Aerosmith, KISS, and more, this tribute to rockers of the 1970s and 80s will bring you to your feet. The doors open at 7 p.m. and the show is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. Tickets range from $23.37 to $25 and can be purchased by visiting www.ticketweb.com. For more information call 304-232-5050.
