'Steamroller - The James Taylor Tribute'

Local artist Sam Hyman leads the eight-piece band in a tribute to the best James Taylor melodies. Ever wonder what an owl eats? Children, accompanied by an adult, can learn the answer as they dissect owl pellets in this free program Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Asbury Woods Nature Center, 4105 Asbury Road. Masquerade at the Museum

This Saturday evening gala at the Erie Art Museum, 20 E. Fifth St., will feature food, performances including Seiche Dance Collective and Jen Dennehy, spectral tales, face painted masks and more. There is no formal dress code, but attendees are encouraged to embrace the splendor of the evening with their attire. Tickets for the event from 7 to 11 p.m. are $100 per person. Kooky Spooky

The whole family can enjoy this spooktacular celebration Sunday at the Experience Children's Museum, 420 French St. The event runs from 1 to 5 p.m. with costume parades at 2 and 4 p.m. The fun also includes trick-or-treat stations, a choose-your-own-pumpkin patch and a mad scientist lair. Admission is $15 for a treater and $12 for a non-treater, with 20% percent discount for museum members. Preregistration is encouraged. 'Joe Gatto's Night Of Comedy'

This isn't one for the little kids, with parental discretion advised and a recommendation for audience members to be ages 16 and older. 'Jesus Christ Superstar'

The latest Broadway in Erie production celebrates the 50th anniversary of the iconic musical phenomenon featuring events during the final weeks in the life of Jesus Christ as seen through the eyes of Judas.
