Things to do: Easter egg hunt at Dillon State Park is open to all children

Search for Easter eggs at Dillion State Park at 9 a.m. Saturday. Kids will be released to find their eggs by age group. There is no cost to attend and the event is open to all. The hunt has been moved this year to take place in the beach area parking lot. If the candy-filled eggs don't fill you up, the Coffee Coven will be on-site so you can grab a bite to eat and a hot beverage. A portion of the proceeds from the event will benefit the Friends of Dillon State Park group. Stick around afterwards for the Naturalist's Nature Book Club at 11 a.m. at Cabin #21 or the Spring Trail Adventure hike along the Storybook Trail from 2 to 3 p.m. To register for the book club, call 740-453-0391. Visit baby animals

What’s cuter than cuddling up with baby farm animals? Not much. McDonald’s Greenhouse and Corn Maze has been busy with the babies and wants you to come and experience what they have to offer. Come prepared for the weather, as areas can be muddy. The event is scheduled to run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday. There is no cost, but donations will be accepted to benefit the Life Well Free Store. Ages 2 and under are free. For more information call 740-819-5814. Reverse raffle

Support the Muskingum County Youth Swine Committee with the first-ever Reverse Raffle Extravaganza at 7 pm. Saturday, April 6 at Weatherington Woods Event Center. The evening will consist of a catered dinner, a cash bar, a 50/50 drawing, a silent auction, and, the main attraction, the reverse raffle. Guests will have a chance at winning $5,000. Bring your Chapstick as the committee will also have a kissing booth set up with a very special guest. The Killing Tree Winery will play host to the ever-popular Denise Russell, a female impersonator Friday. Russell has been performing for 43 years and has graced the Cambridge Performing Arts Center stage twice. Sing along as the 60-something-year-old singer belts out hits like "Hey Big Spender" and the Designing Women theme song version of "Georgia On My Mind." Russell is the only impersonator to ever perform at the Grand Ole Opry and has headlined shows in 45 states. The show is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. For more information call 740-327-6100. Stay here in town for an evening of live music and great brews. Check out Randy Gleason as he returns to The Barn. Gleason's rock and roll attitude and classic hits will get your toes tapping. The show is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Friday. Stick around after Gleason's performance to hear DJ Huffy playing your favorite hits.
