Celebrate the return of Artscape after a three-year absence. The three-day free arts festival will display local talent, art, culture and performances. Nile Rodgers & CHIC, Angelo Moore of Fishbone and Anderson .Paak as DJ Pee.Wee will headline. The festival begins Friday at 5 p.m.. Ongoing: Big Dill Pickle Party

Sample food and beverages made from pickles at The Big Dill World’s Largest Pickle Party at the Power Plant Live!, 34 Market Place. Over 50 vendors will be selling pickle-themed food items, sweets, treats, drinks and cocktails. There will be music, a kid zone and more. ‘The Wiz’ at the Hippodrome

See an all-new production of the Tony Award-winning musical “The Wiz,” adapted from “The Wizard of Oz” by L. Frank Baum, at The Hippodrome, 12 N. Eutaw St. The Broadway revival begins its tour in Baltimore, the original home city of the musical, where the show launched its world premiere 50 years ago. Saturday: Wilde Lake Fall Festival

Enjoy an afternoon’s worth of family fun at the Wilde Lake Fall Festival at Wilde Lake Park. The free event includes a DJ, bands, a moon bounce, face painting and more. Vendors will be on hand to sell food and drink. The event was organized by the Wilde Lake Community Association. 410-730-3987.
