Friday: Blondie
One way or another get yourself over to the Annapolis City Dock to see Blondie with Thomas Dolby and Jeffrey Steele. The new wave rock concert is part of the Annapolis Songwriters Festival and sponsored by Rams Head on Stage. Blondie is known for hits “Call Me,” “Heart of Glass,” “One Way Or Another,” and more. Ongoing: ‘Little Amal’
Watch as ‘Little Amal,’ the 12-foot puppet of a Syrian refugee girl, makes her way through Baltimore with the help of four puppeteers. The larger-than-life puppet is on a 6,000-mile, two-month walk across America with stops that include the Inner Harbor. Events are free. The puppet’s itinerary begins Friday, Sept. 15, with a visit to Baltimore City Hall at 4:30 p.m. On Saturday, Sept. 16, she’ll start her day at Rash Field Park at 11 a.m. before visiting Patterson Park at 2 p.m. and Robert C. Marshall Park will be her final destination, at 4:30 p.m.

Saturday: Love Groove Festival
The Love Groove Festival, organized by Baltimore resident John Tyler, returns to Robert C. Marshall Park, 1201 Pennsylvania Ave., this weekend. The festival celebrates local art, music, film and education as it seeks to highlight emerging artists. The festival has included more than 350 Baltimore artists since its inception. Ongoing: Community Based Festival
The Baltimore County Police Department and O.W.E. (Outreach, Worship and Education) are partners in the Five Events, Four Days, One Community festival at 6901 Security Boulevard, Windsor Mill. The event will provide resources and family-fun activities. Schedule of events include: a food giveaway 9 a.m. to noon on Thursday, a job fair on Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; a 5K run/walk from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and teen summit from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday; and church service at 10 a.m., and O.W.E. fest from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
