The unofficial end of summer, aka Labor Day, is fast approaching and we forgot to make plans. Lucky for us, we made this handy list of some events in the Austin area. Maybe you can use it, too.

Check it out:

'Head Over Heels' at Zach Theatre

"Head Over Heels" is a musical with a soundtrack of songs from The Go-Gos, plus a solo Belinda Carlisle joint. Austin's own resident Go-Go, Kathy Valentine, is musical director and leads the house band. The story follows a kingdom that needs saving, with love triangles, mistaken identities and more. You have four opportunities to see the show over Labor Day Weekend (it runs through Sept. 10). Schedule and tickets: zachtheatre.org.

The cast of "Head Over Heels" includes: Jill Blackwood, from left, Tyler Jones, Mariel Ardilla, Stephanie Jones, Hannah Lauren Wilson and Cecil
Washington Jr.
