Coming up around Chicago: the Queen of Christmas, hip hop dance and music to raise the gothic revival roof at Fourth Presbyterian.

Mariah Carey

The Queen of Christmas stops in Chicago with her “Merry Christmas One and All!” tour. The festive extravaganza will feature the singer’s variety of holiday tunes, including, of course, “All I Want For Christmas Is You.”

Millennium Park Holiday Sing-Along

If you’re down to bundle up and brave the cold, head out to Millennium Park’s Wrigley Square to take part in a festive holiday sing-along led by a choral group from Northeastern Illinois University. If you can’t make it this weekend, the event repeats with different choral groups on Dec. 8 and 15.

Brad Williams

‘Bach Marathon’ and ‘A Chanticleer Christmas’

Holiday performances will fill Chicago’s Fourth Presbyterian Church in the next few days. “Bach Marathon Finale” is a free concert Dec. 4 by the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, led by conductor Ken-David Masur. “A Chanticleer Christmas” is Dec. 5-6, with the Grammy-winning men’s chorus in concerts via Symphony Center Presents.

Angel Olsen
