Do the Right Thing‘s Bill Nunn, aka Radio Raheem, Dead at 62

Bill Nunn, best known for his role as Radio Raheem in the Spike Lee joint Do the Right Thing, died on Saturday at the age of 62.
Lee declared via social media that Nunn — who passed away in his hometown of Pittsburgh, Pa. — is now “resting in power.” No cause of death has been reported.

Nunn was best known to TV audiences for his work on USA Network’s Sirens and ABC’s The Job, both of which hailed from Rescue Me‘s Denis Leary. His feature film credits also included Lee’s School Daze, Mo’ Better Blues and He Got Game, as well as Sister Act and the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man trilogy. He is survived by his wife and two children.
