We’re only days into 2024 and already getting one of the most anticipated weddings of the year. On Jan. 4, The Golden Bachelor's Gerry Turner, 72, will say “I do” to Theresa Nist, 70, in front of a live audience after proposing on the final episode of the show which aired on November 30.
Nist told PEOPLE that in terms of wedding planning, by mid-December there were “very few decisions left to be made” thanks to her daughter Jen Woolston, who helped her mom choose everything from the flowers to the dress.
“My daughter, she's seen a million weddings and she is incredible," Nist said of Jen. "She's put together the vision board. She's asking me, ‘Do you like this? Do you like this?’ And I go, ‘Wow, okay, I don't even have to do this. This is awesome.’ She's handling it pretty much.”
And while we’ll have to wait until Thursday to see the New Jersey native’s actual gown, we couldn’t help but select three dream dresses from some of the biggest designers at Kleinfeld (of Say Yes to the Dress fame) that we think would look fantastic on the grandmother of six.
