Mira Sorvino and Lisa Kudrow just had a run-in, and it was like a long-awaited Romy & Michele’s High School Reunion, uh, reunion. We don’t care who’s the Mary and who’s the Rhoda — we’ll take these two hanging out any way we can, even if neither one of them really invented Post-Its. It’s been 22 years since Sorvino and Kudrow introduced the world to one of pop culture’s most iconic duos, so can you really blame us for geeking out over the two hanging out again?

Sorvino took to Instagram on Tuesday to celebrate her chance encounter with her former co-star at a Netflix party. “Look who I ran into!! The incomparable @lisakudrow!! And I’m gonna be lucky enough to hang w/her again Friday! Woohoo!! Love this woman!!” Sorvino gushed. Kudrow shared a similar photo of the pair on her own feed, writing, “Most thrilling moment for me at a party EVER! Genuinely GOOD person @mirasorvino see you soon.” In an adorable — and, let’s be honest, very Romy — fashion, Sorvino commented on Kudrow’s pic, “Ooh I like your pic!! Brighter than mine!! Love you Lisa.”

It’s unclear why Sorvino and Kudrow will be meeting again on Friday. But we assume that when they do, they’ll be having the “business woman’s special.” Or, you know, just two burgers, fries and Cokes.

Not surprisingly, fans proceeded to freak out about the possibility of a reunion. And though neither actresses commented on the potential for one, Sorvino did “like” pretty much any fan comment that suggested it was time for Romy White and Michele Weinberger to bring their unique fashion sense and #squadgoals back to the big screen.

This isn’t the first time Sorvino has hinted that she’d be on board for a reboot. Actually, she has outright said it’s on the top of her wish list. “I want a Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion sequel — hands down,” she told Us Weekly in 2018. “The fans have been clamoring for it. We would love to do it.”

By we, we’re assuming she meant Kudrow. In which case, what are we waiting for? Movie execs, it’s time to check in with these two. Is Michele still with Sandy Frank? What became of Heather Mooney? We have questions that clearly need answering.
