Then and now: ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ fashion evolution

What was old is new again — just ask the cast of the popular ’90s series, “Beverly Hills, 90210.” The gang from West Beverly High School had their fair share of drama, but they tackled their teen milestones in style — and some of their fashion choices are trendy again. No matter what decade you’re in, denim never goes out of style — right, Jason Priestley, Shannen Doherty, Tori Spelling, Jennie Garth, Brian Austin Green, Ian Ziering and Gabrielle Carteris? The cast wore jeans a lot — and let’s be honest, we still wear them too! Another trend that was so ’90s and so “90210”? The choker! The accessory has made a stylish comeback. Some things, however, do change — thank goodness! Priestley, who was a huge fan of vests in the ’90s, now prefers a more dapper look, wearing ties to red carpet events. Garth has also updated her look, most notably her hair. Kelly Taylor, played by Garth, was known for her signature bangs when the show premiered in 1990, but she has ditched the fringe for a sleeker hairstyle. Check out the video above to see how much the cast’s fashion has changed through the years.
