We Ask the Stars of Comedy Central: Who Should Host 'The Daily Show'?

Who should host The Daily Show? We’ve heard plenty of suggestions since the news of Jon Stewart’s exit broke last month, but we thought we’d go straight to the source and ask the stars of Comedy Central who they think should fill Stewart’s coveted late-night seat.

In the video above, we pose the question to Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele (Key & Peele), Anders Holm and Kyle Newacheck (Workaholics), Nick Kroll (Kroll Show), and Andy Daly (Review) before their PaleyFest LA panel. And their responses vary from halfway serious (Peele thinks The League star Paul Scheer is astute enough to pull off the gig) to mostly joking (Kroll wants to go old-school and bring back original Daily Show host Craig Kilborn).

And Key probably has the best point of all: You’ve already got Andy Daly working on a Comedy Central show; all you have to do is change a letter! The Daly Show, anyone?
