Put on your most hideous outfit and dial your boombox up to 11, because we’re going back to the 1980s! Welcome to a special edition of our game show The Room of Doom, where ten contestants answer a series of questions all about the decade that brought us the biggest pop stars and even bigger hair - and you can show off your knowledge by answering the questions as they pop up below the video.

Our host, comedian Russell Hicks, has trapped in his Room of Doom a group of strangers from around the world and will be subjecting them to a series of super-tough questions, each with ‘A’ or ‘B’ answers. They make their decision by running to the corresponding side, before a terrifying wall slides across and splits the room in two. Whoever is on the correct side will go on to the next question and be a step closer to winning the cash prize, but everyone on the wrong side will be trapped in The Room of Doom forever.

Whether you lived through the ‘80s or just heard about it on The History Channel, take a leap back in time with today’s Room of Doom.
