‘The People v. O.J. Simpson’ Reveals Unknown Consequences of Bronco Chase

On The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story, FX brought to life the infamous 1994 car chase. The episode explained the impact the chase had on not only O.J. and his loved ones, but also America in general. People were glued to their TVs, on the edge of their seats, watching every single mile that white Bronco traveled. Millions of Americans tuned in to watch Robert Kardashian read O.J.’s suicide note, Johnnie Cochran’s live commentary, Robert Shapiro’s emergency press conference speech, and the moment everyone was waiting for: O.J. stepping out of the Bronco.

In the footage, O.J. stands there exhausted, clinging to framed pictures of his children and repeatedly apologizing to the LAPD for “ruining their day” and “making them stay out late on a Friday night.”

The episode comes to close with the state attorneys gathered around one another, looking pleased, ready to take O.J. to trial.

The People v. OJ Simpson: American Crime Story airs Tuesdays at 10pm on FX.

Watch the actors share their memories of the infamous chase.
