‘The Lion Guard’ Sneak Peek: ‘30 Rock’ Star Jack McBrayer Changes His Spots

There’s a new leopard in the Pride Lands, and if you listen closely, you may just recognize his voice. In this exclusive sneak peek from Disney Junior’s new The Lion Guard episode “The Trouble with Galagos,” airing Friday, actor and comedian Jack McBrayer (30 Rock) voices the role of Badilli, a leopard who needs help standing up to a bully that has challenged his territory.

Far from a big, scary predator, this character is more of a pussycat. He’s even a little skittish, but wouldn’t you be if hundreds of baboons were invading your dreams? Still, his claws are sharp and he’s intimating enough to send the scared galagos scrambling when he mistakenly takes over their turf.

This isn’t McBrayer’s first voice role on a kiddie cartoon — indeed, he’s a regular on Disney XD’s Wander Over Yonder, and he voiced Pirate Mummy on Jake and the Never Land Pirates as well as fanboy Irving DuBois on Phineas and Ferb — but this particular role is really making him roar. In the nicest way possible, that is.

“The Trouble with Galagos” episode of The Lion Guard airs Friday, Aug. 5 at 9 a.m. on Disney Junior.
