'The Jedi Doth Return' Trailer Completes Shakespeare's 'Star Wars' Saga

Verily, there art another.

William Shakespeare — well, actually author Ian Doescher — concludes his Elizabethan adaptation of the Star Wars saga with the upcoming book The Jedi Doth Return. Like the previous two installments, the reinterpretation imagines how the adventures of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Princess Leia would have played out, had they been written in the iambic pentameter poetry of history’s greatest playwright.

To mark the occasion of the final chapter of the original trilogy, publisher Quirk Books created this trailer recreating memorable moments from Return of the Jedi, from Leia’s first encounter with an Ewok (“Deceast at once, you furry little imp.”) to Admiral Akbar (“Fie, ‘tis a trap!”). But you’ll have to buy the book to find out how Shakespeare would interpret the “Nub Nub” song.
