When you’re heir to the throne of England – normal style rules don’t apply!

Rocking perhaps the chicest nightwear ever, Prince George sent sales of personalized bathrobes soaring on Friday evening when he met President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama in a white bathrobe, bearing his name, teamed with blue gingham pajamas and velvet slippers.

The 2-year-old royal wore a Gingham Blue Trim Robe from online retailer My 1st Years, which specializes in personalized kids wear. The robe sold out within minutes of the adorable pictures being released. The soft terry cotton-toweling robe is available from newborn to three years and retails for $36.

“We are thrilled that Prince George chose our robe to wear when he met President Obama,” Daniel Price, founder of the online retailer tells PEOPLE exclusively, adding: “Our website has gone crazy ever since the photo was released!"

And don’t fret, while Princess Charlotte may have missed out on meeting her parent’s influential guests (she was already tucked away in bed by the time the Obamas arrived at Kensington Palace for dinner with Prince William Princess Kate and Prince Harry) she has her very own bathrobe from the company, bearing her name like George’s but in pink gingham trim.

Keeping the prince’s feet cozy and snug were a pair of Little Boston Plane Slippers from Trotters. The smart navy velvet slippers from last seaso,n which are no longer available, feature a Velcro strap and a natural rubber role and retailed for $26. Keeping with George’s love of all things transportation-related, the slippers are embroidered with red biplanes.

While Kate and the Middleton family are known to frequent both the Kensington and King’s Road branches of Trotters, Kate is also said to be a big fan of My 1st Years, having purchased several bespoke items for her children from the popular website.
