Clueless was released 21 years ago today, in 1995. At the time, it gave many viewers their first glimpse of the posh life to be found in the hallways of a Beverly Hills high school. But now, it remains a neatly preserved time capsule of the ’90s — from fashion to slang to lots and lots of pop culture references.

Cher and Co. name check everyone from Forrest Gump (the movie came out in 1994) to Pauly Shore to Irish rock band the Cranberries, who released their massive hit “Zombie” in 1994. Check out the above video to see just how well a Marky Mark reference holds up 21 years later.
