‘The Bachelor: Women Tell All’ Deleted Scene: Liz Is Totally Not Bitter

It’s almost time for the festival of awkwardness and ombré highlights known as The Bachelor: The Women Tell All. This season, Bachelor Nick Viall has broken a lot of hearts throughout his “journey,” and all of those emotionally bruised women will be there to put him in the Hot Seat (to use one of host Chris Harrison’s favorite phrases).

One such scorned “lady” is Liz — aka the woman whom Nick slept with at Jade and Tanner’s wedding and who then disappeared out of his life … until the Night 1 limo arrivals, that is. “My initial reaction was, ‘Holy crap, that’s Liz!'” recalls Nick in this exclusive deleted scene from Monday’s WTA. But Liz didn’t acknowledge their past encounter when she introduced herself that first night, and the Bachelor started to doubt his first impression. “I was like, ‘Does this girl just look like Liz?'”

Eventually, once Liz and Nick did get a chance to talk about their past encounter, it became pretty clear pretty quickly that their relationship didn’t have much of a future. “It just seemed like it wasn’t the best situation for either of us,” Nick says diplomatically. As for Liz? When asked to give her side of the story, she does so through a mask of thinly veiled hostility. “I feel like everything happens for a reason,” she says. “I’m proud of myself for going on and taking a risk.”
