1. Shooting a world leader is no laughing matter. But the Times of London reports on a “curious royal incident” when Queen Elizabeth II was nearly shot… by one of her palace guards. The ex-guard recalls how one night he saw a shadowy figure in the dark, walking outside at 3 a.m. It was quickly revealed to be Her Majesty, who is fond of late night strolls. She told him, “Next time I’ll ring through beforehand so you don’t have to shoot me.” Oh, British humor.

2. In an excerpt from her upcoming GLAMOUR UK cover story, Anna Kendrick downgrades the importance of discussing sexism in Hollywood. She said, “No one really wants to f***ing hear actors talk about this, because we’re in such positions of privilege … I would love to hear more about sexism that exists in other fields.”
