That Moment Jack Black Man-Crushes on James Marsden in 'The D Train'

In the upcoming comedy The D Train, Jack Black plays Pittsburgh family guy Dan Landsman — a man who becomes strangely bent on reconnecting with his former high-school classmate, the most popular guy on campus, Oliver Lawless (James Marsden).

The exclusive clip above highlights the moment when Dan realizes his onetime peer has seemingly made the big time, appearing as a lifeguard on a national TV ad for Banana Boat triple-defense sunscreen for men. (Talk about product placement: You can purchase your own bottle at a drug store near you. Yup, it’s real.)

Dan tracks down Oliver in Los Angeles (where some wild stuff happens. See below!) to lure him back to Pennsylvania for their class reunion, but things don’t go exactly as Dan plans.

The D Train, also with Kathryn Hahn, Mike White, and Jeffrey Tambor, hits theaters this weekend.
