Thanksgiving with Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani: One Big Happy Family
We've all seen the undeniable chemistry between the two-panel judges on the popular show, The Voice, but Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani rarely share what goes on behind closed doors in their personal lives. That is till now. Fresh of the Thanksgiving holiday, both delved into their small vacation away from the show and the massive get together that they had when their families spent time together in Blake's home state of Oklahoma. Did we mention that it included over thirty people? Here are the details of their 'little' excursion.

From Anaheim to Oklahoma
Stefani, who is originally from Anaheim, California, has had to adjust to the terrain and lifestyle of Oklahoma, but not in a bad way. To her, it was mesmerizing to see all the trees and backroads that Shelton knew so well. Speaking on the Kelly Clarkson Show, Stefani stated, "We are like from Anaheim and we’d never seen even trees before. We were like, ‘Wow, this is like crazy'." Besides the abundance of vegetation, she was pleasantly surprised by the country lifestyle that Blake's ranch has with ATVs and plenty of space for her boys to run around and play.
Cramming into a Bed and Breakfast
While Blake has a beautiful ranch property, it just didn't seem economical with both sides bringing their extended families, totaling over thirty people. So, the couple made the decision to house everyone into a bed and breakfast that Shelton owns. To them, it's so much fun, though. It's an opportunity for all of them to spend quality time together, cook tasty meals, and enjoy a yearly tradition. And this big gathering wasn't just for one day. The families got to spend a lovely, long five days together.
All Good Things Have to Come to an End
Although the large family outing for the Thanksgiving holiday has to end soon, Stefani has really considered Oklahoma as a new home, despite her affiliations with California. When they do leave, though, it will be back to judging on The Voice where they perhaps, have just as much fun together. Regardless, it's safe to say that there will be many more trips back with the large extended families to Blake Shelton's ranch and his beautiful bed and breakfast hotel in Tishomingo.
