Teyana Taylor Releases '80s Freestyle Sneakers
Teyana Taylor and Reebok are launching a crazy-colorful new Freestyle sneaker, available online today. The "Color Bomb Pack" features a super-saturated hot pink high-top (called Pink Craze) and a cool blue teal one (titled Mineral Mist), and they retail for $75 each.
According to Teyana, Reebok Freestyles were among the first sneakers she ever wore as a kid. "I was four and I just knew I loved them, I wouldn't take them off," she said in a statement. "Freestyles [also known as 5411s] were all I wanted to wear growing up so it feels like everything's come full circle with this partnership. I'm a serious sneakerhead, I can dance in anything, but the 5411s are so light weight and narrow and they have the ankle support. And you can wear them with anything."
Reebok Freestyles were originally released in 1982, and back in January, the brand relaunched them in white, black, and red. These new colors are really serving up an extra-large dose of those nostalgic '80s feels. Now, if only they would make them in rainbow glitter.
