Texas Police Responding to Icy Crash Hit by Second Vehicle

Officers responding to a crash on Intestate 27 in Lubbock, Texas early on February 10 narrowly avoided harm when a second vehicle hit the responding patrol cars.

Footage released by the Lubbock Police Department showed the incident, part of a spate of crashes in the area due to icy conditions.

“Our forecast includes more snow and ice through the next several days,” the department wrote on Facebook. “Slow down, don’t use your cruise control, give yourself more space, and pay attention to the road, not your phone or other distractions.”
