Texas G Andrew Jones released from hospital after receiving treatment for leukemia
Texas has confirmed good news for sophomore guard Andrew Jones, whom the team announced was diagnosed with Leukemia in January.
Jones, who has spent several weeks in a Houston hospital receiving treatment, has been released and will resume his treatment on an outpatient basis.
The school released a statement from Jones on Monday.

Jones, whose family has been updating his status on social media, also released this video of his release from the hospital.

Jones averaged 15.3 points while shooting 46.3 percent from behind the arc early this season and had aspirations of playing in the NBA. The news of his release from the hospital appears to be a step in the right direction for his recovery.
