DeWanda Wise stars in a terror tale from the demented minds behind "M3GAN" and "Five Nights at Freddy's."

Are you ready to have the memory of your beloved childhood toy ruined forever?

In Blumhouse's upcoming horror movie Imaginary (first look images from which you can see below) DeWanda Wise from Jurassic Park Dominion plays Jessica, who moves back into her childhood home with her family only to discover that her youngest stepdaughter Alice (Pyper Braun) has developed an eerie attachment to a stuffed bear named Chauncey she finds in the basement. Alice starts playing games with Chauncey that begin playful and become increasingly sinister. As Alice’s behavior becomes more and more concerning, Jessica intervenes only to realize Chauncey is much more than the stuffed toy bear she believed him to be.

“I couldn’t be more excited to share Imaginary with the world," Wise says in a statement. "These two images are truly emblematic of what our movie is all about: the startling power of our imaginations, and how the intangible memories from childhood shape the way we move through life. We often cite a desire to return to a level of childhood innocence, but being a kid can be scary! It’s full of uncertainty, vulnerability, and monsters that lurk in dark corners. Imaginary is a horror thriller for the kid inside each and every one of us.”
