Salim most recently starred opposite Jake Gyllenhaal in the Guy Ritchie film “The Covenant,” which was released by Amazon and MGM Studios. He recently reunited with Ritchie on the Netflix series “The Gentlemen,” which is due to premiere on March 7. He is repped by Buchwald and Emptage Hallett.

“Dark Wolf” is set five years prior to the events of “The Terminal List” and focuses on Ben Edwards (Kitsch) as he goes from life as a SEAL to a CIA paramilitary operator. The series is co-created by Jack Carr and David DiGilio. Carr is the author of “The Terminal List” book series that serve as the basis for the original show, while DiGilio developed “The Terminal List” for television and serves as showrunner. Both Carr and DiGilio are also executive producers on “Dark Wolf,” with DiGilio showrunning the prequel as well.

Kitsch will executive produce in addition to starring, while Pratt executive produces via Indivisible Productions. Antoine Fuqua and Kat Samick executive produce through Hill District Media. Former Army Ranger Max Adams and former SEAL Shaw also serve as writers and executive producers on the series. Frederick E.O. Toye will direct the pilot and executive produce. “Dark Wolf” is a co-production from Amazon Studios and MRC Television/Civic Center Media.
