The Fisher Island property is one of the city's most prestigious addresses, accessible only by ferry or boat
Danish tennis star Caroline Wozniacki and former NBA All-Star David Lee are asking for $42.5 million for their lavish penthouse on Fisher Island, a secure oasis within minutes from Miami Beach.
The couple, who have two children — Olivia, 2, and James, 1 — bought the stunning penthouse at Fisher Island’s Mediterranean-style Palazzo Del Sol in 2021 for $18.7 million, after previously owning another unit on a lower floor. Meaning, that if they get their asking price, they will have more than doubled the value of the home in just three years.
“The penthouse is the premier residence on the 216-acre Fisher Island,” listing agent Dina Goldentayer of Douglas Elliman, tells PEOPLE of the exclusive island accessible only by residents and members via ferry or boat.
Wozniacki, 33, is a former number one ranked singles tennis player, who has won 30 career titles, including a Grand Slam in 2018. She retired from professional tennis in 2020 to start a family, but rejoined the tour in 2023.
Lee, 40, is a two-time NBA All-Star, who started his career with the New York Knicks and went on to play for other NBA teams, including the Golden State Warriors, where he won a championship in 2015. He retired from the NBA in 2017.
Their stunning five-bedroom, five-and-a-half bath penthouse offers 7,000 sq. ft. of interior living space complemented by 5,000 sq. ft. of terraces with mesmerizing water views.
“They completed a meticulous restoration and it shows,” Goldentayer continued. “There is a marble media wall, 18-foot ceilings, Art Deco-inspired details, a custom bar, contemporary kitchen, and opulent primary bath.”
Entering the penthouse, the foyer opens to the great room with oak herringbone flooring positioned facing West to capture the sunset, and skyline views enhanced by glass pocket doors overlooking Biscayne Bay.
There are four glamorous social areas for entertaining, including a hosting salon, bayfront bar, TV room and formal dining area. The kitchen boasts a dine-in marble island, wine wall, and Art Deco detailed hood.
The penthouse also has a Bang & Olufsen sound system and smart home technology controlling the retractable glass doors. The terrace has a fire pit and hot tub.

According to the broker, the sprawling rooftop steals the show with a private pool, summer kitchen and endless vistas of water and skyline.
“This residence will break all records for the island,” Goldentayer says.
