‘Tenet’ finally gets released, ‘Bad Boy Billionaires: India’ comes to Netflix and more of this week’s best in pop culture

Christopher Nolan’s “Tenet” starring Robert Pattison and John David Washington hits theaters. The sci-fi thriller was delayed a few times because of the pandemic, but the wait is over. The film centers around Washington’s character whose mission is to fight for the survival of the entire world — talk about pressure! If you’re wondering if Washington is related to the famous Denzel Washington, you’re right! Denzel is John’s father. “Tenet” opens in theaters Thursday, Sept. 3. “Bad Boy Billionaires: India” is an Investigative docu-series that explores the greed, fraud and corruption of India's most infamous tycoons. The Netflix series shines a light on the stories of businessmen Vijay Mallya, Subrata Roy, Nirav Modi and Byrraju Ramalinga. It uncovers how these men rose to the top, built an empire, and ultimately fell. “Bad Boy Billionaires: India” premieres Wednesday, Sept. 7 on Netflix.
