'Temptation Island' Couple Iris And Luke's Romantic Dinner Date Goes Hilariously Wrong
Iris and Luke weathered many metaphorical storms during their time on Temptation Island Season 4. That likely helped when it came time to weather an actual storm that ruined an otherwise wildly romantic dinner date.
Since announcing they put their engagement on pause only to circle back to each other last November, the couple appears to be going strong. In fact, they spent their sixth Valentine’s Day together on a gorgeous vacation in Phuket, Thailand. They clearly stayed for a while as they're still making posts in which they're soaking up the sun and enjoying gorgeous beach views, as well as some pretty incredible-looking meals.

Last week, Iris took to Instagram to reveal she and Luke were treated to a romantic dinner on the beach along with a “Temptation Thai” menu that was fitting for their Temptation Island Season 4 success story. Their elegant, candlelit table was positioned in the middle of the sand overlooking a gorgeous sunset over the ocean. Surrounding the spot were lights that gave the entire area a starlit glow that the duo was supposed to have enjoyed throughout the entire dinner. However, on Monday, she shared a post revealing things didn’t quite go as planned and the romantic meal didn't stay that picturesque for long.
Instead, their gorgeous dinner got rained out in a big way. Once the sun went down, an unexpected rainstorm came over the beach. Iris can be seen in a video (presumably taken by Luke) holding an umbrella in one hand and doing her best to smile and eat through the bad weather. What's a little soggy food and watered-down wine between two people in love anyway?
Luckily, she revealed in the caption that the people who organized the dinner for them moved quickly and got them inside for what she described as an equally “beautiful dinner.” The post was both revealing and funny for the couple, but it seems plan A was to never let the world know their Instagram-worthy date went awry.
“Omg you went there with this post for real! You aren’t suppose to blow our fantasy highlights like this,” Luke commented on the post along with some laughing emojis.
The post is fitting for the couple, whose rocky relationship got stronger than ever thanks to their time on Temptation Island. If there’s one thing Iris and Luke taught us it’s that relationships, like romantic dinners, aren’t always what you picture or hope for. However, if you’re with the right person, it’s easy enough to find joy and humor in the parts that don’t go as planned.
