"My name is Rachel Wattley. I am the girlfriend of Daniel Hernandez. I want to start this letter off by saying this has not been an easy year, not that we expected it to be Your Honor bu God gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers," she begins.

She continued, "When I met Daniel Hernandez, he was nothing like how the internet portrayed him to be. He was the total opposite. He was exceptionally respectful, outgoing, very sweet, kind-hearted and a genuine generous person."

As we reported, Tekashi also wrote a letter to the court saying something similar and that he had misrepresented himself as a gangster, saying, "I now know that I am remorseful for what happened because I was blessed with the gift of an opportunity that most people dream of but I squandered it by getting involved with the wrong people and misrepresenting myself when I should have been true to myself and my fans."

Tekashi's mother and several other family members also wrote letters asking the judge for leniency in the prison sentence.

Jade goes on to describe that even though the couple's relationship was only a few weeks old when he was indicted, she claims he has been nothing but humble and family-oriented.

He Is Nothing Like You Think He Is...

She says in the letter, "Yes, we knew each other for a few weeks before his indictment but I decided to stick by his side not because I felt I needed to but that he needed someone he can trust in his corner. Throughout the first few months, Daniel was incarcerated, he would always speak on his family, take care of everyone and then go above and beyond with what was necessary."

In the end, Tekashi's GF makes her case to have his sentence shortened and is asking the judge to see the change in the rapper's life over the last few months.

He Will Show The World He Has Changed

"Leading up to this sentencing day, we are extremely optimistic that he will be able to show the change in him to anyone that matter and to the entire world. I am hoping that you can consider this letter as a responsible statement based on his conduct in the courtroom. I want to thank you, Your Honor, for your time and attention to this matter," Jade says ending the letter.

The rapper told the judge in his letter a fellow gang member has even had sexual relations with the mother of his child. Jade is his new girlfriend, and the two do not share any children.

Tekashi 69 is set to be sentenced on December 18. He is facing up to 47 years behind bars.
