Tekashi 6ix9ine May Be Looking At Early Release, But His Girlfriend Spoke Too Soon

Tekashi 6ix9ine has already been singing like a bird, and now he may be as free as one within 6 months.

The rainbow-haired hip-hop star has been in federal custody since November on multiple charges of racketeering and firearm charges.

On Monday, Tekashi's girlfriend, Jade, hinted at his prison release as early as January 2020 in a now-deleted caption to her Instagram post.

"6 more months motherf---er," the ride or die wrote alongside a photo of herself in a crop top, showing off her tattoo tributes to the "BILLY" rapper.

Upon his arrest last year, Tekashi initially entered a not guilty plea. He changed that to a guilty plea in February on 9 charges and agreed to cooperate with the Feds and testify against the former members of his gang in exchange for no prosecution or jail time.

He was initially facing a minimum 47 years in prison, but as we reported, could get that drastically reduced as his former cohorts pled guilty based upon information he provided.

Since that deal, 6 of the 11 defendants have entered a guilty plea in the criminal case.

Sources close to the case tell The Blast, that when the sentencing takes place, which will most likely be next January, a special letter will be filed by the U.S. Attorney to the judge, which will detail the extent of the cooperation by Tekashi.

The letter will heavily influence the judge's decision on sentencing the rapper, and could even see his sentence being reduced down to time already served.

However, we're told Tekashi -- nor his girlfriend -- would have any current indication on his release in 6 months.

Our source says the amount of prison time he ultimately gets is still at the judge's discretion, and he can still throw the book at Tekashi if he wants.

Tekashi's girlfriend may have also been told about the reality of the situation after her post went viral, because it has since been changed.

Jade's caption now reads, "These jail calls are serious."

We're guessing the one she received right before changing the post was VERY serious.
