Jenelle Evans' estranged husband David Eason is giving his fans a lecture on family values nearly three months after the "Teen Mom" star announced their divorce. Jenelle Evans' former man took to social media on Saturday to showcase an abandoned home in his "home town [sic]" of Currie, North Carolina while encouraging his 415k Instagram followers to "learn from their past and stay true to your roots." He also advised them to "stay true to yourself and your family values."
Dropping Some Knowledge:
In the lengthy post, David Eason dropped some knowledge while reflecting on how he was raised. Posting the deserted looking wooden home, Jenelle Evans' ex wrote, "My home town, all the little nooks and crannies, all the history; the old houses near the river and the fact that they have been through dozens of floods but still standing strong." The reality star added, "This place reminds me of who I am, the things I did as a kid is what I still like to do."
Reflecting On His Past:
David Eason then reflected on his childhood and stated he hasn't changed, nor will he. "I do the things my Deddy [sic] did with my Granny when he was a kid. Family tradition is more than a set of rules. It's a personality trait that is shared between an entire family," he wrote. Ending his message with some advice to fans, he added, "Don't let people convince you to change, stay true to yourself and your family values." He continued by stating, "There is a reason your ancestors lived the way they did, learn from their past and stay true to your roots."
Life After Jenelle:
Jenelle Evans announced she was leaving David Eason on Halloween and admitted the relationship "hasn't been pretty." Revealing she filed for divorce that day, the "Teen Mom" star also told fans she was doing "what is best for me, and for my kids" and that she moved "away from David." He heard the message loud and clear because shortly after the news, David Eason removed his wedding band and showed off the INSANE damage the ring had done to his hands.
